Description of the project:
The project focused on the development of the production of Medical Device, which is one of the activities of our company. Our company is also engaged in the research, development, manufacturing, servicing and marketing of medical instruments, medical optical and endoscopic instruments. The goal of our development was to mechanize our current manual workflows and to expand our product range and variety and model range through more precise, precise procedures. With the help of the tools acquired as part of the project, this was a success. We can say that with our development we have created better quality products and we have also been able to work more efficiently by integrating mechanization into the production process, which leads to increased competitiveness of our business.
Assets acquired under the project: 1. KCT-W200F laser welder; 2. ECO-532 CNC Machining Machine; 3. Samsung H60 ultrasonic positioning device
All three tools are essential for more accurate, precise procedures and serial production. With the laser device, precision cuts can be made and parts welded with the same micrometer precision. Compared to the current manual processes, laser cuts can be made more precisely by order of magnitude, which improves the quality of our manufacturing processes. The CNC workstation is the solution for manufacturing and machining the various parts and preparing the assemblies. This guarantees serial production, higher number of pieces, and a more precise fit than today's semi-manual production, and three times more productivity, which improves our competitiveness and efficiency. The current manual production is more automated and digitized. Ultrasonic positioning enables flexible vascular accessory scaling and mapping of intracellular networks and accurate curvature determination. The data required for manufacturing, as well as precise sizing and fitting during production, can be performed under ultrasound or X-ray control. To complete these processes, the ultrasound equipment was purchased.
